"Was looking for remnants of the old firetower that once stood on the summit. None found. Expected the route to be a bushwack but found the old fire warden trail all the way to the top." — goshen-bagger • Jun 2, 2026
"Started at Cadillac summit then over to Dorr, Champlain and Gorham. The rock slabs were sketchy after yesterday's rain and the Ladder Trail was the most insane of all. Glad no one else was on that one. But not to worry, I found all the people between the Bowl and Park Loop Rd. Caught the shuttle to Jordan Pond for snacks then hopped on the next one to the Visitor center to get picked up by my husband. The shuttle allows for lots of fun one way hikes! Will use it more on my next visit." — beaucheminjess • May 26, 2026

"Bushwhacked to the summit and discovered the old AT route, still white flagged and navigable, though with much downed timber and some overgrowth. From Fourth Mountain summit, there is a decent view of Baker-Whitecap-Saddleback." — christophercarlisle • May 24, 2026
