"Stephan, Ron and I went up the South Ridge with no problems. Not the most pleasant route since it's some bush and such for a long ways up the ridge, but views got decent as we got higher. Very little moderate hands-on stuff, a tiny bit of exposure in a spot or two and otherwise some slogging. Nothing too hard and perfect, sunny weather. Six hours including a half-hour summit break. First Kane peak of the season. 101st Kane peak overall! Looking for lots more this summer :) " — leigh-annewebster • Jun 19, 2018

"A fanstastic scramble with great views of the town of Banff, I believe the summit route I used has now been closed due to the construction of a via ferrata above the ski hill." — chrisbrown • Aug 20, 2013
"We originally had the plan of doing Mist and Lipsett and thought the forecast of 20% showers was going to be good enough to at least attempt it. However, when we drove down highway 40 that morning it was raining and probably snowing at the top of most of the peaks in K-country south. The weather was getting worse and the clouds darker as we kept driving more south along the highway. We decided to change the objective to Mt. Norquay since the sky to the NW looked clear from where we were. As you can see from the picture it was a good decision as the skies were clear in Banff. This is at the top of Stoney Squaw. We decided to do it quickly as it also is from the Norquay parking lot and only takes about an hour round-trip." — dkmountainman • Sep 26, 2011
"Myself and 3 Army friends were on 2 weeks R&R whilst being based in BATUS. After hitting Edmonton and Calgary, we headed to Banff before going on to Jasper and Vancouver on an epic road trip. Whilst there, we explored the trails and near by peaks of this beautiful area. We took the chairlift to the restaurant on the mountain, and admired the views of the surrounding peaks" — HikingViking • Sep 28, 1990
