"Beautiful day for these peaks. We did Edith North in 2021, but gave up on the traverse because of fresh snow overnight. We found all trip reports have accurate descriptions. The only real route finding challenge was getting down the descent gulley from Center Peak. There were still snow patches lingering, that had us second guessing our safest options. We followed what we thought was a cairn, trending skiers left, and nearly got cliffed out above steep slabs. We climbed higher to a better vantage point and discovered some proper looking cairns and what looked to be the best line, keeping skiers right at the lowest part of the gulley. Wouldn’t want to be on this section with another party though - lots of unavoidable rock fall. With all the fun features and decent views, this is one of our favourite scrambles. Note: Cory pass trailhead is not accessible due to Hwy 1A closure. So we hiked up from Hwy 1. " — ivo • May 28, 2023
"Great scrambling with some neat features! Loved it. The tunnel was super cool. Opted to go around the flake on the way back cause the move to get up was super awkward. Took probably 9000 photos of Mt Louis " — jakefinnan • Jul 20, 2022
"Wanted to climb Ishbel, but they extended the closure (last minute) until August 31. Last minute change of plans. It's still a good one.
The rock on northwest chimney is getting polished. South Chimney is pretty easy.
Was worth a repeat....8 years later!" — mike_rogers81 • Jul 16, 2022
"A great day on Edith peaks. The descent gully on the central peak was full of snow, and the tunnel on the south peak was full of ice so we had to use the bypass ledge which was the sketchiest section. The crux was an overhanging boulder in the gully before the summit ridge, probably low fifth class." — yuri • Jul 9, 2022
"This was a fun peak to do for #100 on Peakery! Approach up Cory Pass was pleasant and enjoyable. It’s a great trail. New snow on upper slopes probably made route finding a little harder than it normally would be with no visible trails or cairns. After a few attempts to find the correct chimney, we were at the notch to the summit. Lots of snow and ice made the jump extra spicy looking. A fellow climber we met on the mountain scoped out the lower bypass, but that seemed even more sketchy. So I went for the leap of faith! Jumping far enough to get your hands on rock is far enough for your feet to land on something flat(ish). We climbed back across the notch using a few ledges for solid footholds. We attempted the Center Peak ridge and bypass, but decided to call it a day. There was too much snow and ice for us to attempt safely. “Quit while we’re ahead!”. So we will be back next year to do in summer conditions. This is definitely a fun mountain to climb! The views are amazing, so choose a good weather day. We returned by following Cory Pass trail clockwise around Mt. Edith. Encountered mid day rock fall under the northeast cliffs that sent us running for cover. That was the scar..." — ivo • Sep 19, 2021
"Great day out in Banff. Really nice Edith Pass trail and then up and over 3 peaks and direct descent and then rapidly to the car for <2 hrs from south summit. Leisurely 9 hr day with Alda.

"Used the right chimney up and down. Went down and across to get to the summit didn't feel like jumping although it's not that far. Traversed to centre peak then South peak. GPX on South peak log" — Randy • Jun 27, 2018
"Ron, Brent and I had a perfect day out. We were on the trail at 7:30 A.M. and set a fast pace to the pass. All of us summited the North and Centre peaks, but Ron opted out of South Edith as it's listed as a difficult. We didn't find it bad at all, other than some awkward climbing moves that required some flexibility, which Ron doesn't really have (he's 63). All in all a good day with a bit of sketch factor between the two pinnacles on the North peak (I downclimbed and stretched across), the short traversing downclimb into the gully heading down the Centre Peak and the awkward moves in the tunnel and past the big flake on the South peak. Perfect day, about 7.5-8 hours out altogether including lunch on the centre peak. We took our time on the way down and found it quite steep heading back to Cory Pass trail." — leigh-annewebster • Sep 4, 2017
"Good scramble on a beautiful day.
All 3 peaks of Mt. Edith are moderate scramble if the proper route is taken. We went off-route on Edith South and had some pretty intense moments. Found the right way on the way down." — Taras • Jun 9, 2015
"Weather was initially suspect but it turned out wonderful. We were able to gain most of the elevation using Cory Pass, which was rather pleasant. The scrambling was moderate to north and centre peaks, and difficult to the south peak. A great day out!" — BertB • Jun 9, 2015
