"This turned out to be a really wonderful hike. The weather was perfect & the flowers are in full bloom. This is what I think of as "East Longwell Ridge", though it is not the highest point. As I neared the summit, I came to an extremely exposed, crumbling knife-edge. I back tracked a little & found a shelf which I traversed just below the summit cliffs, then scrambled up through to the summit. I returned a slightly different way, making a nice semi-loop.
