"Mount Worthington was among my favorites for this year. I did this as a two night adventure. Me and Blair hiked into Three isle lake for the first night. When I awoke the next day I tackled Mount Worthington. Stayed another night at Three isle lake and then hiked back out the next day. FANTASTIC adventure.
First you must get to Three isle lake. Its an easy hike at first. But then you have to go up a headwall in the last 1.5km and its absurdly large. Annoyingly difficult lol. Once at Three isle lake, go around the left side of the lake into the valley used to access Northover ridge. About halfway through the valley you have to go right into the bush. Its a bushwhack from here. I found a small cairn right at the entrance to the bushwhacking section. I took a waypoint of the cairn location on my GPS, here are the co ordinates.

Once out of the bush the col in the distance is obvious. Amazing views even at just the col. Turn right at the top of this col and Mount Worthington is easy to figure out. It also connects to Mount McHarg. Probably one of the shortest traverses in history. However I did not go to McHarg this day. There was a snow squall ..." — Slogenstein • Aug 21, 2021

"Worthington and McHarg are off trail Hikes or Easy Scrambles (class2!!!), had a great time up there! Very easy to combine the 2. Loved it. Three Isle Peak is in Rockies South guidebook as a 2nd class route along the SE ridge. This is plain WRONG. It is 5th class, yes really. The route in the book is dead wrong. You must ascend to the col between Three Isle Peak and Mt Putnik first (NOT go up the SE ridge), from there it appears that the route to the summit could 2nd class, but is still probably 3rd or 4th. The traverse to Mt Putnik along the west ridge is also rated as 2nd class, it's definitely 3rd and probably has a section of 4th from the looks of things. This guidebook is frustratingly inaccurate, stuff is wildly sandbagged or just plain dead wrong. I got a great look at the "3rd class" Mt Beatty route and I am highly skeptical of that too, let's just call it 4th. We should have just gone up Mt Putnik instead of attempting this traverse, but when something says class 2, you kinda think it'll be at least doable?? What a load of crap! "Climbed McHarg and Worthington from Three Isle Lake Campsite. 6.5 hours roundtrip. Bushwhack and easy scree slog. Epic views of Joffre, and the Royal Group. The next day we did Peak 193107 described in Kananaskis Trail Guide vol.1." — yuri • Aug 17, 2020

"Left Three Isle with gorgeous views of Worthington and the Northover Ridge valley. Some dense bushwhacking before we gained the saddle. We attempted to skip the snow sections, and climbed a steeper section of the face, which turned out to be fine, but was more hands on and rubblier than expected. After gaining the saddle the views of King gorge we wonderful. Also our decision to skip Northover the day before was justified upon getting a better look at the amount of snow present on the ridge. McHarg was still deeply snow covered so also didn't ascend it. Logbook was new last year (2019) in glorious pink with only one entry. On the way back, we took the safer and more normal descent route, followed the drainage gully a little lower than normal which was easier, but forced us to backtrack a bit up the valley to get down to the creek and back to camp.
