"Memorial trip of sorts, and some history. The first register was placed in 2004 by Donnie B., Anya D. and Henry D. Don named the top of "Echo Cliff" as "Prana Peak" after the Yogic concept. Don also named Yoga Peak in Red Rock; he passed suddenly 12-12-2020." — hwstock • Jun 8, 2025

"This is mainly for History. Donnie B and Anya D climbed "Echo Cliff" in 2005 (or 2004?) and left a register on top, calling it "Prana Peak." The old register was found years later by Kevin H." — hwstock • Aug 8, 2022

"I started this hike with my dad at 4 AM and ended it at 5 PM. The hike up to Griffith Peak Junction was the best part of the trail. We had overlooks and attractions along this section. We finnaly got to Griifith Peak Junction. The section after this was really boring. The trail wound throuGh a section called The Meadows. The we went through some dead bristlecone forest. It was the same way till the treeline and airplane crash site. The plane was cool. The summit was really great! We got 360 views of everything. I love benchmarks so it was a treat to see 2 benchmarks on the summit. The windbreak had enough snow to make a snowman in, and there was a register and antenna site at the summit too. My dad also made a sign at the summit. Sorry for only uploading the summit photos, Peakery says all my other photos were too small." — lcnguyen • Dec 6, 2021

"Laszlo had tried to describe to me where Prana Peak was (he found a register up there with that name). For the life of me, I couldn't tell what he was talking about, so he agreed to lead me up there. Well, turns out it was Echo Cliff and Laszlo somehow managed to miss the very obvious Echo Cliff summit register and found a well-hidden Prana Peak register just off of the summit. "Wanted a short Sunday hike, so we went to try something new - Echo Cliff. We started up the Cathedral Rock Trail and turned off towards a small seasonal waterfall. We followed a flowing watercourse up quite a ways, then took a muddy slope up to the ridgeline. The views were great. Took the same way down." — Kevin • Sep 10, 2017
