"A great hike on a slightly smokey day. The round trip took was about eight hours taking it easy. A couple portions of the scramble can be a little intimidating. Ascent to the summit was 1035 meters from where we parked." — Jesse • Aug 15, 2017
"Enjoyable short scramble. Very popular with inexperienced scramblers who find a way to get into trouble. We helped one of them to get safely down. He went a wrong way from the summit and told us almost killed himself. " — Taras • Jul 30, 2016
"We escaped the poor weather by going to the Crowsnest Pass and tackled Crowsnest Mountain. The trail is virtually dry with the exception of the gully/crux. The snow was pretty hard with the cooler overnight temperatures (crampons would have been better than microspikes). Nonetheless we got through it. At this time we pushed pretty good to the summit as the clouds were moving in. We didn't spend too much time on the summit, got back down without any rain. Success!!" — BertB • Jun 13, 2015
"Warm day. Up and down in 3h 45m. Some nice snow in the gully and below for glissading. Path was easy to follow with cairns all the way to the summit. No summit register...rather a Canadian flag in a container with black marker. Flag is almost completely covered in names back to 2009? This wraps up the Kane peaks in the Crowsnest area for me." — alexjoseph • Jun 6, 2015
"This was the first every 'real' scramble to a mountain peak I ever did during a summer camp when I was 15 and sparked my love of the mountains. I remember thinking the chute section was so cool. " — cfree • Jul 16, 2008
