"MTB loop. Road ride was nice. Read somewhere that you "can ride all the way to the top if you have the legs" and that is complete bullshit. The only way you can bike this whole route is if you have a yamaha 450f. Lots of push-a-bike, way more than I was expecting. But, it's worth it. Cause the ride down from the east peak is excellent loose/steep fast old school mtb. Great scenery. If I were to repeat I'd probably just push up to the east peak and go back down from there. Had a lot of fun in the end but this is a hike that you can bring a bike on. " — jakefinnan • Oct 6, 2024
"Walked the 9 km along the road from the gate to the south ridge and looped back via powderface creek also went to a point along the way that had a sign that said Sunrise Hill. Total distance was about 22.5km." — Randy • Apr 22, 2016
"A solo trip. Went on the main trail 1.95km, then headed left up a partly open slope to the end of the ridge at 2.25km. This point is 516m above parking. A great day to hike along the ridge for a bit over 1km. Lunch then headed down to col and up to Powderface Peak. A nice warm day with very little snow left on the trail.
Elevation gain for the trip 516m, YTD elevation gain 27476m." — MtnJohn • Jun 3, 2012
"Second peak for the day. First time to the actual ridge, which is to the west of the peak. Many times to the peak just to the east of here, which is not the ridge, though many people think it is. We went to the peak first, then crossed westward to the ridge from there. Much better views of Nihahi and the other peaks to the west. Elevation gain for the trip 100m, YTD elevation gain 22255m." — MtnJohn • Jun 18, 2011
