"Quick run from East Garrison to West Garrison to bday cake/cannon sendoff. Hit Mount Livermore and Point Stuart Hill en route. Incredible views of SF and the bay; reflection from water so intense could feel its heat." — scott • Nov 13, 2022

"Finally hit one of the last peaks in the Marin 25 Peak Challenge on a perfect second-spring day. Green fields of new grass and perfect singletrack makes for a great loop to this surprisingly lofty vantage point smack dab in the middle of the Bay. Did the loop with time to spare before the next ferry departure so stuffed guts at the Cafe. Perfect day!" — scott • Dec 4, 2021

"I finally climbed Mount Livermore, one of the last remaining for me in the Marin 25 peak challenge.
|We took the 11:30 ferry and left on the 1:30 ferry, with time to spare
|Epic Views of 180-360 degrees of the Bay Area from various viewpoints.
|Hiked to the top, where the lightning rod is.
|625 feet of vertical(approx. 190 meters) across over 4.1999 miles of trail

"Boarded ferry at Pier 47. Peaceful short trip across the bay, great view of Alcatraz and the whole of the bay. Off loaded at Ayala Cove. Quick stop at the gift shop to pick up a map and patch. Started on trail to the left and climbed to the perimeter road. Crossed and linked with the North Ridge Trail, used trail all the way to the summit. Amazing views the way up and from the top. Used Ida Trail down to the perimeter road. Used perimeter road to Point Stuart Loop then back to Ayala Cove. I enjoyed the hike despite the crowds and complete absence of trail etiquette . I would recommend a week day to visit. " — Mtstalker • Feb 8, 2020

"Fun outing with several cool people. Great view of the Bay Area, not a scrap of fog visible from the top. Apparently that's quite rare, and it also made for quite a hot hike. Sunset Trail is very nice and there was a good live band at the harbor once we finished. Got to sail back on a chartered boat, sailed right under the Golden Gate and learned what foiling was, thought it looked pretty neat." — robkleffner • Jun 22, 2019

"Coming off foot surgery, this was the perfect hike to get back into peaking. Only one ferry service out of Tiburon (angelisland.com) and it's not the blue/gold (which was advertised, but only leaves from SF)...AND they only take cash! They have ATM on site, but had to do some running around to find it. Otherwise, very nice hiking day." — colleenmarie512 • Mar 23, 2019
