"Nice views. The ridge just before the summit was a bit of a grind, but the rest was pretty stable.
A bump to the east seemed to be a similar height, so we bagged that one too. It was loose and exposed..not recommended. Stop at the summit cairn. " — mike_rogers81 • Aug 1, 2020

"I agree with the rating, the final 10m of the summit ridge felt like moderate scrambling on the way up, and difficult on descent, however it is very short - it is easy scrambling the entire rest of the way. Some scree to deal with on the way up can mostly be avoided by staying left along the ridge (which gets you great views of Ribbon Lake). You can stay left on descent and maintain a fairly long screen run back down to Buller Pass. It was 16km and 1600m gain to the summit from the parking lot at Ribbon Creek. A fantastic peak when staying at Ribbon Lake (or Lillian Lake). Highly recommended! Peaks in the area were quite dry even on north aspects - very little snow remaining from last weekend - none on south aspects." — jakefinnan • Sep 8, 2018
