"Took the Ridge to climber's right of the main snow gully, and the Kane route down. The ridge had some upper-moderate/easy-difficult level scrambling. Interesting variation and made for a solid ascent route. Beautiful windless, warm summit, stayed up there for over an hour. " — ken_hercules • Jun 4, 2023
"Lots of scrambling beyond the initial bushwhack section after Little Lawson. Scrambling never gets more difficult than Class 3, but with lots of exposure so it's a solid difficult scramble. Once on the summit, it's best to descent via the Kane route (with 2 vehicles) or return the same way. Don't repeat my mistake and try to descend towards Kent Creek towards to bypass South Lawson. We probably waisted 2 hours doing it on miserable side-sloping. " — Taras • May 28, 2023
"Another one for Liz. The way up was more entertaining that I remembered. Got caught in a downpour on the way down and it brought back all my memories of knee jarring rubble. Good views, but mostly one for the list. Liz is down to 21 in Kane's third." — mike_rogers81 • Jul 14, 2019
"I am not sure if we ever really found the right way either up or down. Smoke was more or less gone. Windy summit. Lots of bushwhacking on the way down. Saw a big tree fall over (there is a lot of weak trees here), and even forded the creek (barefoot)." — BertB • Aug 29, 2015
"Evening ascent after work. Incredibly calm, bluebird evening and great 850m snow couloir ascent, kicking steps right to the top. 3h 15m up and summited at 9:10pm with almost an hour of sunlight left. GPS was valuable on descent especially through dense bush at bottom." — alexjoseph • May 20, 2015
