"This trip included Little Hector and two Peaks on Andromache. We had a 6am start, so still had cloud cover for the summit of Little Hector. We put on helmets for scrambling wet rock on the ridge ascent. On Andromache we only encountered one small snow patch to cross that did not require crampons or axe. Amazing views in all directions! "As part of a Little Hector to Andromache traverse. Another smoky day with some light rain and snow. Lots of scree on this adventure including an endless descent down the north ridge of Andromache...can't imagine going up that way. Thanks to Rishi, Parker, Lito, Babette, Rob, and Gerry for a great day.

"Little Hector - Mt Andromache traverse
17.61km with 1,938m gain; 12:30 hrs car-to-car (we were a rather slow group)
Little Hector, 3,134m (10:40am / 1 hour)
Andromache East Peak, 2,996m (2:40pm / 20mins)
Mt Andromache, 3,005m (3:35pm / 30mins)
Planned to continue onto Noseeum but ran out of time; also wanted to take NW ridge off Andromache but decided to use a normal route due to snow on the ridge." — alexp • Aug 4, 2017
"Took the suggested descent down the broad gulley. Mostly smooth sailing, but a bit of bush and debris (big trees) at the end of the avy path.
Snow on route was avoidable, but the bypass added difficulty. Still moderate in these conditions though." — mike_rogers81 • Jul 8, 2017
