"First day back in 3 weeks after ankle tendon injury...this was the test. And it did great. Great day out with Rob and Gerry. 10 to go...

"Had a perfect day on the Icefields with Feli. Didn't need a toque or jacket even since summer actually showed up. We did the direct route up the Tower 3/4 gully and summitted Tower 4. Still some snow near the shark fin and run off that made some rocks wet. Got a waterfall down my back at one point lol. Only us on the route and that's why we chose to go on a Tuesday. Wow, views are always amazing on the Icefields." — leigh-annewebster • Jul 23, 2019
"Interesting scramble with fantastic views from the top. Most of the route is scree slog. Things get interesting once you reach the chimney between Peak 3 and 4. The chimney is very steep and extremely loose. No more than 2 people should be there in the same time; otherwise, it is very dangerous. The chimney is a 100m shooting alley with little room to hide.
From the top of the chimney, upper moderate/easier difficult scramble (Class 3 terrain) lead to Peak 4 (true summit).
Peak 3 has infamous reputation. In fact, it is no more difficult than Peak 4: upper moderate/easier difficult scramble (Class 3 terrain). I read many accounts that describe "exposed ledges with very loose rock". There are none. The ledges are wide with no exposure. From Peak 4 - Peak 3 col, traverse the ledges below Peak 3 roughly half-way before going up the obvious chimney. The chimney is easier than it looks, one difficult step, mild exposure in the chimney. Reach the top of the chimney and turn left on the summit. There are a few cairns to guide you. This is the most enjoyable part. Don't ignore Peak 3 just because it's a few meters lower than Peak 4." — Taras • Jul 15, 2018
"9.80km with 1,050m gain in 6:30hrs.
Backup plan (weren't able to cross a river on another planned one).
Scree was awful but enjoyed the views.
Traversed towers from SE to NW: 6 - 4 (true summit) - 3. Skipped the 5th (it's a climb). Traverse from the 6th to the true summit is a 5th class scramble." — alexp • Jul 12, 2018
"A beautiful day, I went up followed the Spirko track. Left my poles at the bottom of the gully, which was a mistake. It was a bit airy on the ledges to Peak 4. Beautiful views. Got offroute a bit to Peak 3, and got back on route by means of a few sketchier moves." — BertB • Aug 26, 2017
