"A taxing climb, but more for the route taken than anything else. After visiting the cave at Arnalo dei Bufali where the 12,000 year old rock art "uomo a phi" was found, we climbed the steep south side of this hill to get up on the ridge. Very loose underfoot. Then made it to the top of the southern ridge, through a couple of barbed wire fences to the "dolina" a huge sinkhole on the top of the hill, some 70m in diameter. All made slightly nervous by presence of cattle, not unusual, but these didn't seem to like us being around. " — vygodski • Mar 29, 2018
