"From the southeast by the hairpin on the via Mazzamorra. The walk is described in considerable detail in the new guidebook to the Lepini. It is not the best of excursions.
At the gate keep left, the road taking you to semi habited ruined buildings with a roman ruin to the left, which is not much to see. Here follow the road right past/through groves until the road ducks under the east side of the mountain for a long detour and then returns to roughly same zone just 20 metres or so up (on return I cut off this hairpin and exchanged time for brambles). Two gates along here. Looks like visiting isn't hugely encouraged. Slow rise alongside a wall, and then the paths disperse leaving you on your own to get to top. Did not find one useful/used path, but on return the old house was at least a point of orientation. The top it seems is actually in the scrub, which is very thick and rewards little, but gained nonetheless. Slightly lower on the crest it is open and good views afforded.
