"Beauty day in the alpine, pretty straightforward travel for most of the day, only a few moderate scrambling moves to gain the extra summits, can generally travel wherever you want above rockbound lake. Saw a summit grizzly, heard about this kinda nonsense but those bears must have picked up a copy of Kane Scrambles and are out there bagging peaks just like us! Will return to do Castle true summit, Stuart knob and Helena as a seperate trip, too big of a day for us to continue on and do em all. A must do! Loved it. 31km 1780m gain, not sure what peakery will say it was. " — jakefinnan • Sep 6, 2024

On the way back, we scrambled up the less predominant, yet distinct smaller peaks on the south end. In order travelling from the South Peak: S2, S3, S4. For S2, we wrapped around to the South side and climbed a short and crumbly depression on the face. S3, we each took different options between scrambling small benches and a scree ramp. S4, we wrapped around the South end to the West side, and found a chimney to scramble up. There was another registry here, but full of water. After that, we meandered..." — ivo • Jul 17, 2022
