"12.13.2020~4 Peak Ridge Surfing with Stavros on the fringe of the LaMadre Range. Lonely Pinion Pine, Roger’s, Marie’s & Kids Peaks CW loop. 7.5 miles, 2,800’ gain, 3:33hrs. Stav is a very accomplished and strong mountaineer and a smart & lovely person. His uphill pace is stunning to behold....It was a cold morning on the edge of town. I’ve been avoiding the change of Season and Mostly trekking and running in the warmer areas, so this was challenging me as I’m not use to the chill yet. Beautiful area. I love it when my 30-something pals trot me out in the mountains once in a while and make me work....keeps me in good shape. Thanks you Stav for leading and suggesting this route. It was great to finally meet you....(rest Peacefully to Kevin’s Grandparents to whom he dedicated two of the 4 peaks we did today. Roger’s and Marie’s peaks) " — paula.raimondi • Dec 13, 2020
"Hiked up to Roger & Marie Peaks with Amber to upgrade the summit register containers to ammo cans and to put full summit registers in the cans. It was a bit warm but not too bad. Followed the dirt road all the way around the back to go up the easy way. There is road to follow all the way up to the saddle, then class 2 to each summit." — Kevin • Sep 27, 2020
"Hiked up to Roger (4090) & Marie (3990) Peaks today, in tribute to my late grandparents. Spent the hike and some time at the peaks remembering them and their lives. My grandparents were the 2 most wonderful, sweet & genuine people I've been blessed with in my life. Followed the east ridge up to Marie's Peak, then traversed the ridge to Roger's Peak. Decided to follow a dirt road down the back side from the saddle & picked up a few geocaches along the way back. It was 106 degrees when I got back to the car. " — Kevin • Aug 28, 2020
