"Jenna and I drove to Waterton and spent an overcast day doing a modified winter route on Rowe (modified from Matt Clay). Avi was low-moderate-moderate and the snowpack was settled, but there was definitely exposure to risk on this route." — leigh-annewebster • Feb 24, 2024
"A hike (Class 1) via Upper Rowe Lake Trail. The descent straight towards the highway is exposed right after the summit on a narrow ridge, and feels like a "difficult" scramble. It's a slog below the ridge. I'd hate to go up that way." — Taras • Jul 10, 2023
"Ridgewalked the continental divide of Waterton National Park starting from Mt. Rowe and ending at the border of Castle Park (Sage Peak). The hiking was easy and the only scramble (up Kishinena Peak) was avoidable if you are willing to lose a small amount of elevation. The 39km's were long but there truly was good value in the route. I highly suggest this one!" — danielvanderpyl • Aug 30, 2022
