"Left my GreatDivideTrail pack at the main trial, ran/jogged up to Lineham summit, took a few quick pics then returned to the main trail. Summit contains a pink ammo box and register. " — MarkJPerkins • Jul 18, 2021
"Amazing day on a classic Waterton scramble. Blakiston was a brutal slog, however the amazing ridge walking was worth the price of admission. Mount Hawkins was the prettiest of the trio with great red argillite rock and stellar views of the Lineham Lakes valley. Mount Lineham was a struggle since we were already exhausted. The scree ski off Lineham is the best I've ever done! Very quick descent off Mount Lineham, 1 hour 45 minutes from summit to car." — yuri • Jul 15, 2021
"Hawkins horseshoe. started with high wind and low clouds, Ended with a snowstorm but everything inbetween was a gorgeous day, fresh snow and Ice made the climb up to Blakiston a little trickier but manageable without traction. " — ken_hercules • Jun 6, 2021
"Hawkins Horseshoe (Blakiston, Hawkins, Lineham). The day was cold, warm, snowy, sunny, rainy, windy, and breezy. It was good to be prepared. Blakiston ascent was mostly snow-free, however ice and fresh snow made scramble sections a little slick. A slightly warmer day and these sections would be just wet or even dry." — ivo • Jun 6, 2021
"Traversed over from Lineham Ridge. After highpoint the ridge from Blakiston all the way to Lineham I was bagged. The weather held and we (effectively) stayed dry all day. Screwed up the descent route however, but managed to get out without too much trouble." — BertB • Jul 4, 2015
"Have been up this peak multiple times. The view towards Cameron lake is awesome.
This particular time, the wind was ferocious (what's new in Waterton). About 10 Metres from the top while bending into a strong gust, a gust within the gust blew me over throwing me onto the rocks. Got quite a bruise and many scrapes, along with scar tissue in my calf muscle. Sat behind the summit cairn just to get out of the wind to have a bite to eat. Came down the Rowe Bowl way, connecting with the Tamarack trail making it back to the car in the pitch dark.
In total, my peak count in Waterton is 8, most multiple times. This peak is my favourite." — DougGHenderson • Sep 24, 2014
