"Was planning on the Whistler, Frankie, Larry, North Castle Loop, but the creek on the access road was running to high for my CRV.. This, along with the rain, killed our motivation. We went to crowsnest pass for a stop at the Cinnamon Bear Bakery and did a quick one.
Just a quick hike, but the Miner's trail along the creek was really nice, and there were beautiful flowers on the south peak.
Not bad for a rainy day.

"After a hard week of work I managed to get a few hours Friday afternoon to research objectives. Leigh-Anne had already suggested some and because I was able to find these ones first, I decided to go for them. We had intentions of doing Wedge Mountain as well but that didn't happen. After a km or so we put the snow shoes on, and up we went." — BertB • Mar 9, 2019
"Bert and I made the drive to the Crowsnest. When we got there the weather wasn't so great, but it cleared up substantially as the day went by. We parked at the municipal park and hiked up Miner's to the small ice waterfall, then exited the canyon and made our way up to the ridge. There was a bit of scrambling on some slabby/snowy rocks, which was a bit more challenging with the 'shoes on, but otherwise lots of snow. There were some tracks that would appear and disappear, but we did a lot of trail breaking. It was a strenuous day, but entirely worth it to get out. Next time we'll do Wedge Mountain." — leigh-annewebster • Mar 9, 2019
"A nice short walk, less than two hours up and down the east slopes. There appears to be a nice trail following flowing from the summit to the west slopes, and down the north ridge." — Jesse • Aug 14, 2017
"A fairly boring hike on an unimpressive mountain. But it grants nice views towards Flathead Range peaks and Crowsnest Mountain with Seven Sisters.
For more variety it make sense to proceed towards a higher unnamed summit north of Saskatoon." — Taras • Mar 23, 2013
"A nice hike to the summit of what is not necessarily the most impressive peak but does grant beautiful views south and N.W. to Crowsnest Pass. Fantastic day for doing this little peak with some beautiful cumlus clouds to make the surrounding peaks pop." — Mountainman • Mar 23, 2013
"From the Forestry Trunk Road we followed the hydro line cutline up to a clearing. We turned abruptly right (North) and followed the ridge to the summit.
Not an overly challenging hike - good for beginners who need to build their strength. It does provide a good vista of the surrounding area." — yantski • Sep 15, 2007
