"Went up to Pulsatile Tinnitus Peak first with the objective of getting Blue Diamond Hill. As me and Daisy got close to BDH which is a little bit on private property now, a helicopter landed just below the peak and o figured I better not trespass. Literally 50 yards and 40 feet below the summit. Did not hit the summit block for Hi-Squirrel as i had the puppy with me." — acekelly • Nov 21, 2023
"11.28.22~7.5 miles, 1,600’ gain in 2:39h w/Frances. Blue Diamond Hill HP & Hi Squirrel (taking turns since its summit is tiny)🐿️. Up the Muffins, Down Bob Gnarly. Frances had never done the BD HP so she invited me to join. We hiked up and jogged down. Chilly 46 deg start. " — paula.raimondi • Nov 28, 2022
"This was likely my 20x since starting in 2017. I went 2x yesterday. Nowadays I typically go up the face and descend the left (north shoulder) as shown in the photo. The face has many small chert projections, but some do break. The north shoulder is really the safest; but after a wet freeze, any route may have new loose rocks. I still get bloody coughs from COVID, and my resolution is to do more short climbing stuff until I can heal (I hope)." — hwstock • Dec 2, 2021
"Took Boneshaker to Lookout Road to Hi Squirrel, which is an exposed class 3 climb to a little rock tower, with a very small summit. From there, we took Overlook Ridge to PT Peak, then Bomb Voyage past the Muffin Boulders, back to the trailhead. It was a gorgeous day and a fairly easy hike (which was nice after doing 30 miles and about 7k gain in the last 2 days." — Kevin • Jun 7, 2020
"3.17.2020....Hi Squirrel and Blue Diamond Hill Peaks w/Karla, 10 miles, 2,000’ gain, 3hrs. Hard to even remember it’s St Paddy’s Day with all that’s going on. Was nice forget about it all for a few hours with our Buddy run “social distancing” style. Our buddy tree and pose of the dancer were not connected by touch but we were connect in spirit. Stay safe everyone. Stay home or in the middle of nowhere, which happens to be 2 of my favorite places to be. P.S...stop hoarding! I need Toilet paper and tomato paste and can’t find any!
