"Climbed Two Fools Chute all the way to the top and finished the approach to Willow Springs with some fun slots and a tunnel climb. We then did a slightly modified route up to Goodman Peak. The final approach to Goodman was a climb up the east face. Fun, challenging, advanced scrambling route. " — Heartattackbruce • Oct 17, 2023
"Nice day out in the NCA . Came up Willow springs overlook first then I tried to find deception peak(not on here ) but didn’t have much luck. Was standing right on top of the coordinates that I had on Google but didn’t see a register or anything . Went up to Goodman and tagged that, and moved up to north. Snow and ice are pretty minimal until you get over to crest , then it starts to get quite icy. Too icy to traverse all the way over to yoga and bridge . Came back and got lost creek, but tried to come down the face and got cliffed out/lost . Was super annoying cause I could see the rock stack leading me down the gully but couldn’t find a line down the 30 ft dry fall or anything around it . Made me wish I had untied and took one of the many useless hand lines I encountered along the way. Had to go back up and out the way I came and come down the easy way." — joshortman • Jan 2, 2023
"Climb to Lost Creek Pk via Graffiti Traverse & Rescue's Overlook, Up to North Pk, Buffalo Wall, El Duderino, down to Goodman Pk, and passed Maggie's Overlook & Willow Springs Overlook on the way down. Nice day!! Windy on the descent. " — DudeAlmighty • Apr 13, 2021
"I had been up here before en route to Goodman Peak, but wanted to try what I thought was a different route near the top. Turns out it wasn't. Oh well. We had a fun scramble up and amazing views from the top!" — Kevin • Apr 22, 2018
"We took a new (to me) route to Goodman Peak via 'The Hideout'. This was a fun, exposed class 4 scrambling route up the NE Ridge to a small cave area where someone had hidden from the law. Why they would go all the way up here is beyond me. They must have been there a while though, because they built a stove, had a makeshift bedroom lined with pine needles and had a canteen and flag hung from branches. There were cans & bottles piled up from the 80s in there. Craziness. From the Hideout, we traversed across the sandstone to the standard route and made our way to the summit. We stopped at Deception Peak and Willow Springs Overlook on the way back. We took the standard route down. Deception Peak looks like an imposing, awesome peak from below, but isn't once you get there." — Kevin • Apr 5, 2015
