To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and every page on the site.
The information we collect
This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the peakery web application. On some pages, you can search for peaks, add peaks and associated metadata including peak stats and route information, add comments and likes, and log climbs of peaks. When you sign up for peakery, you must provide a username and password. The username that you select is publicly visible on the peakery site. Your email address and password will never be shared with external parties. Any information you choose to provide on your peakery profile page will be visible to everyone. Please don't put self-identifying information in your profile that you do not want the general public to see. When logged in to peakery, ALL comments, photos, peak trip reports, GPS tracks, and any other information that you add will be shown publicly. Your level of contributions to the site will be reflected publicly too. Basically, don't add anything to peakery that you are not OK with the public seeing.
