"Traversed Vision Quest Ridge to the true summit, then went down to Littlehorn Pass and across to the next ridge to ascend an unnamed Peak (called it Epiphany Peak), then traversed to Bright Star Peak and then down to exit via Whitegoat Creek Trail the following day. Epiphany Peak is almost 100 metres higher in elevation compared to "Bright Star Peak" to the south). Note that there is a register laced on Vision Quest Ridge that is nowhere close to the true summit (almost 5 km south of the true summit)" — d-lutz • Jul 19, 2024
"This was an exploratory route. I didn't know that it would work except that I knew I could get to the Vision Quest Peak. I didn't use the "bypass route" to get to the Vision Quest Peak summit. Instead, I utilized what I would call a low 5th class route to take on the 13th / 14th false summit directly. There were 2 low 5th class moves that I needed to execute, and therefore, I would not call this ascent line scrambling. The "scramble" route would utilize the "bypass route", which skirts along the cliff face on the west side of that 13th / 14th false summit block.
I utilized a connecting ridge to get to Littlehorn Pass, and while the summit of Littlehorn Pass Peak is on the north side of the pass, there is an almost equal elevation summit on the south side with a generous cairn. I used a scree slope to drop from that cairn and then gained the next ridge to the west through some fins before losing a pile of elevation again before heading up a drainage/gully to go to "Epiphany Peak" via a side-branch to the main drainage and then breaking through a weakness in the cliffband.
The final summit was gained by skirting the east face of "Bright Star Peak", and wrapping around and up ..." — d-lutz • Jul 19, 2024
"With the promise of wind swept ridges we went up. We left the snowshoes in the car. We got started and there was significantly more snow than we expected. I got past that and continued up. The views from the top were very good." — BertB • Jan 22, 2022
"Absolutely stunning views on a perfect day. One layer of pants, light pack and beast mode breaking trail. I would do this one again for sure as it's quick and gorgeous. Just a long drive..... Bert may not have enjoyed the snow workout as much as me, but I think he still kind of enjoyed it. " — leigh-annewebster • Jan 22, 2022
"Alda S. and I took a good trail to the top of Vision Quest Ridge, and then scrambled about a dozen high points until we reached a prominent cairn. It took us about 12 hours return with a short break at the summit. Several high points were serious scramble, ranging from easy to moderate to difficult. Peak 10 on the ridge we circumnavigated on the climbers left. Best is to stay hugging the rock band - although it does not look it, it gets you through. Fantastic scramble, but not for novice" — martawojnarowska • Sep 29, 2020
"Took Steph along with me. It started hailing around 2000 meters just before the scramble. We turned around. No summit but the views were still great. Happy to finally get the chance to explore the area. " — Randy • Sep 10, 2018
