"Wow what a “hike” . Clocking in at just a mile and a half this one is loads of fun. Start along the main road and just walk right up one of the washes and you’ll see a path that leads to the base of the first scramble . Once you get up the wash you’ll just go to the other side of the rock and the rope should appear in the crack above you. That rope is good and I would and did trust it/ commit to it . Shoutout @theruggedoutdoorsmen for putting it up there. Short class 4 section after that and you are at the summit . Forgot about daylight savings and went up there right at sunset so had to come down in the dark which was fun ." — joshortman • Nov 7, 2022
"This was a fun scramble to a new peak for me in Valley of Fire. Harlan led the way, while Erica & I followed. The crux was just below the summit, where there was a fixed line. It looks like some sort of tow strap. I wouldn’t trust to fully weight it; the climb is class 3+. Bring your own webbing to use for the downclimb, if you need it. " — Kevin • Dec 11, 2021
"We went up the NW gully and came down the SW gully. Currently there is a strap at the hardest crux, but without that strap, it would be stiff class 4. I've climbed that without the strap, and it isn't easy. Erica joined me to be official witnesses for Kevin's 99th peak of Las Vegas 100 list.
The upper left corner contains the number of the photos in sequence. There are 3 points (A,B,C) marked on image 1, which are also marked on a few of the other images. I did this because peakery rearranges photos randomly; unfortunately, peakery also randomly crops photos so the numbers may be missing." — hwstock • Dec 11, 2021
