"Climbed back up and over this one from Mt. Klem on the way back. The Old Clough Rd. was an awesome choice for descent back to the pkg. area. It still seems to be fairly well used. Finished the tough Dave Roberts Quarry Trail so it was a good day!" — SteveM_StickMan • Sep 17, 2023
"I went down the Bypass Trail from W. Quarry, then up the cliff climbing back up on the Quarry Trail just for redlining. Lost the trail for a bit on the climb back up. Blazes could use some refreshing in spots along here. Nice breeze on the summit areas with blue skies everywhere!" — SteveM_StickMan • Sep 17, 2023
"We finished up Redlining the Belknaps by completing the Dave Roberts Quarry trail. So we celebrated with a big loop hike peak-a-palozza hitting W. Quarry, Rand, Klem, Mack, Anna and E. Quarry. Beautiful blue skies, great day to be out in the Belknaps." — Alohabuffy • Apr 2, 2022
"Eastern Belknap look to finish up the Belknap 12s for two of our group - Fairhiker and Alison. Got a early enough start to be the only two cars in the Jesus Valley Road TH - quiet (just passed by a single runner) until the Quarry Trail. Fairly bug-free (surprising) until the summit of Rand- then the black flies swarmed and kept wanting our blood. We deviated from the trails with a shortcut through the woods from the col between Rand and Mack and the BRT near Anna. 7.7 mile loop on a sunny late May day followed by ice cream in Alton- a great time. "A loop hike to close out my Belknap 12. Good hike. Picked up 17 ticks and killed all of them. Not the greatest views on these mountains, but there were a couple here and there." — newenglandwarrior • Jun 28, 2019
"Grass was pretty high and the mosquitoes and ticks were abundant. Hike up was pretty good with the exception of two broad patches of deep mud. Had to be careful on the descent due to mud and wet, moss covered rocks. Beautiful ay in the mountains." — rjnick • Jun 22, 2019
"Did the Belknap Range Traverse (alternate route) to hit 10 peaks and complete my Hike366 project. A really fun route! Left a car at the end of the hike and took an Uber to the starting trailhead. What an adventure." — beaucheminjess • May 10, 2018
"Great day out in the Eastern Belknap Range. Loop hike starting from the Mt Major trailhead and hitting the following peaks: Mt Major, Straightback Mountain South Peak, Mount Anna, Mount Mack, Mount Klem, Mount Rand, West Quarry Mountain, East Quarry Mountain, Straightback Mountain North Peak." — kpreston21 • Apr 28, 2018
"One of 10 summits reached on my 12 mile loop hike across the interior peaks of the Belknap Mountain Range. Awesome day for a hike with beautiful weather and serenity abounded with not one human encounter the whole trip; which is usually a rare occurrence for me. " — DPGobleJR • Oct 20, 2013
"I've been wanting to finish the Belknap Range List for quite awhile, lacking only Klem and Rand. My longtime hiking partner, Rachel, and I took a chance on the rainy weather forecast and felt like we had a window to start from Camp Bell and go over Mack then Klem and Rand and return the same way. Including a short break we managed the roundtrip in 4 1/4 hours and beat the rain later in the afternoon." — StoneMan • Aug 12, 2012
