"Park your car in the village of Mojácar, on the road leading to El Picacho—the mountain crowned with telecom equipment that towers over the town. From there, follow the dirt track on the right, which climbs steadily towards the heights of the Sierra Cabrera. The trail is a beautiful walking path, offering breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea and the white village of Mojácar below. Eventually, it brings you to the base of Risco del Moro. From this point, you ascend a steep ridge that leads all the way to the summit. On the return, I took the northern route past Unnamed Peak (648 m), but lost the trail. The way back was difficult, forcing me through dense maquis and tangled greenery as night began to fall, until I finally reached the only exit from the plateau down to Mojácar." — belgianIbex • Dec 8, 2025
"Start is in the white village Mojacar. Follow the jeeptrack to the Antennas located higher on the hill above Mojacar. The PRA trail from Mojacar to Turre brings you to the base of the 3 unnamed peaks. The Peak 554m is easy to climb. No path, expect sticky green. The second one is the most challenging. It requires a few hundred meters of climbing to the sticky green without a path, followed by a challenging rock climb. There is only one possibility to climb without ropes, from west, slowly turn nord-west to reach the top. Expect some difficult steps. Descending same direction but going over the rocks to avoid the sticky green. The third hill, Peak 643m, is easier. Good luck!" — belgianIbex • Feb 27, 2025
