"Couldnt have asked for better weather. This was my first hike since Eagle peak due to getting an ankle sprain at work shortly afterwards. So it was a great relief to be able to back at it. Very little wind and beautiful day!" — Slogenstein • Jul 9, 2022
"Stephan was feeling sad from staying home all day on Thursday, so he wanted to get out and do something shorter and easier. I still had never done Wind Ridge, so that's what we ended up doing. It has a great approach trail where we saw basically no one. It was gentle but just with a few junctions and turns to keep track of. When we got to the base of the ridge around the bend in the open we started seeing people and lots of them! We passed a number of folks on the way up. We also saw Raymond from the climbing gym. Then on the way back, virtually no one again until we were almost back at the car. We wore microspikes the whole way up and..." — leigh-annewebster • Nov 13, 2021
"Nice outing for shoulder season. The beginning and end were confusing, but I think it's because we were using old GPS files that were pre-flood. Things looks a little different now. Good short day. It was windy." — hollywilliams • Oct 16, 2021
"Wind ridge lived up to it's name, strong winds all day. Had variable bulletproof windslab juxtaposed with incompetent facets. Ended up having to self-arrest on a steep section with hard snow after an unexpected change in snow quality from soft to firm. " — BobbyG • Jan 29, 2017
