"On July 21st, Babette and I biked into the Goat's Eye chairlift at the Sunshine ski hill and scrambled up the loose scree and talus to Mount Howard Douglas. From there, there wasn't a direct route to nearby Lookout Mountain, so we dropped down the screen gulley to the south and traversed around to the next valley. From there we slogged up the ridge up to Brewster Rock, the entrance to the Delirium Dive ski area, and followed the ridge up to the top of Lookout Mountain. On the way back, we returned to Brewster Rock and descended down to the Teepee Town chair and back to the bikes. The scrambling was never more than moderate, but this route involved quite a lot of scree, boulder hopping and elevation gain." — geoffhardy • Jul 21, 2022
"Solo ski tour trip. Nice to be at Sunshine after resort was shut down for the season - I had the entire place for myself. Still tons of snow. They reopened ski resort in early July in 2022. , hard to believe." — Pawel G • May 28, 2022
"Followed the boundary ropes along the summit area to the dive entrance. The Sunshine employee there asked me not to skin up and to stay on marked up hill routes. No problem got it done and skied down. " — Randy • Feb 24, 2022
"Sweet 1000m ascent and second 200m lap on some nice powder all to ourselves. Stunning backdrop and bluebird warm. Insane backyard. Great day with Bert, Lisa, Mathew, Andrea, and Rick!" — alexjoseph • Nov 10, 2018
"As a part of Twin Cairns - Standish - Brewster Rock traverse.
21km with 1,450m gain in 6hrs
As soon as I got to the meadows, got some inversion and was afraid that the weather gonna deteriorate again. But luckily it got much better after; almost a blue-bird day. " — alexp • Apr 7, 2018
