"Parked at a wide parking area with a restroom, picnic table, and dumpster which is east of Three Points on Angeles Crest Highway. There is a gated dirt road on the east end of the parking area. Instead of taking the road, I picked up a use trail going straight up the slope before the gate. The trail continues up the steep slope all the way to Delight Peak. It is a short walk from there to Double Delight Peak. Nice to see that most of this area escaped fire damage from the recent fire. I returned the same way." — MikeTeeples • Apr 16, 2022
"See my climb of Delight Peak for the specific details. It was a nice, short, but steep adventure combining some scrambling, trail, use trail and roadbed hiking, as well as some cross-country up a steep gully. I had not been on the trail for 3 weeks prior (thanks work!!), so this is what I truly needed. I hiked to Delight Peak first, and then a short walk along the ridge to Double Delight Peak. Delight was the high point on the west, while Double Delight was the high point on the east before the rise to Waterman Mountain. The Hike (with both peaks) was about 2.75 miles r/t with about 1300' gain. I took a leisurely pace to soak in the awesomeness that is the San Gabriel Mountain range." — brianpowell • Aug 26, 2018
