"Pleasant walk from the Craven Heifer pub NW on a public footpath, then briefly on a road before taking a bridleway up to the trig point. Well sign-posted, very dry but every indication is it would be boggy in wet weather. Then NE to Rough Haw, not listed on peakery, but a nice top with a short but steep ascent. Then back, cutting below Sharp Haw, meeting same path to return." — vygodski • May 6, 2017
"With Anne Bellarby and Katherine Colbrook. From Flasby up Dales High Way, finishing up path that is an offshoot of this. At top saw there was a well used path going NNE so followed it. It swings round westwards to join track through forest marked on OS 1:25,000 map. The seat mentioned by others is at a track junction in the forest. Much nicer way from Flasby than Dales High Way – less muddy for one thing. Beautiful clear day with snowy tops in view." — peter43 • Nov 21, 2015
