"After a demanding climb the day before, today’s recovery trailwalk was all about pacing myself while still soaking in the beauty of the Lomas del Marillo landscape. The 3-kilometer trek led to a 215-meter-high hill, a modest yet rewarding ascent in the Pulpi area, where the terrain showcases striking sandstone formations shaped by years of wind erosion. The climb wasn't entirely effortless—the sticky green maquis clung to every step, requiring careful navigation through its dense growth. But reaching the top made it worth it. The unique rock formations stood in their sculpted glory, and the view from the summit stretched far, with the Mediterranean shimmering in the distance. A simple yet satisfying walk, restoring strength while keeping the spirit of adventure alive.
