"PCT to Bumblebee Pass. Bumblebee Pass is steep dirt. Descended into talus basin. Clear trail until the talus started. I lost the established trail in the talus and schlepped straight up. Trail became evident again in dirt notch; took the notch to the ridge. Went around backside and began ascent. Clear trail. A few areas of class 3 with some exposure. Came to the class 4 area and it went fine. Solid rock. Easy walk to summit. This mountain has phenomenal views 360 degrees. I felt fine downclimbing without rope even with a heavy pack and in trail runners. Took the PCT back. 20 miles. 11 hours with a 30 minuteish lunch on the summit." — cloudbreach • Sep 5, 2020
