"My brother and I decided to spend the day peak bagging some random peaks we hadn't visited around the Snoqualmie Pass area. We picked peaks we could drive most of the way up on forest roads before hiking, scrambling, or bushwacking the rest of the way to the top.
The first "peak" we stopped at was The Summit at Snoqualmie. We drove most of the way up on a gravel road and parked where it got steep and rocky. From there it was another quarter mile or so on the road with a few hundred feet of elevation. From the end of the road it was a short bushwack to the top, which was surrounded by trees.
Our next destination was Ski Acres Hill, but we first made a detour to Mount Hyak on the way up. We parked near the Grand Junction and hiked a quarter mile or so to the top of Mount Hyak and then continued along the forest road toward Ski Acres Hill. We parked a few hundred feet from the top at the bottom of an old spur road. We hiked the road up to the top of the ridge and then bushwacked a quarter mile or so to the top from there. There are actually pretty good views of the surrounding peaks from Mount Hyak, but the summit of Ski Acres Hill is in the trees.

"Took the well-packed road most of the way to the summit, the lifts were closed and the whole place deserted despite a few inches of fresh powder. The dog and I enjoyed some glissades on the descent, should have brought a sled." — Jeb • Apr 2, 2012
