"I hiked to this summit 3 times in 2015 summer from Newcastle's Cross Town Trail or an unmanaged/unnamed trail to the De Leo Wall viewpoint, where I could see Mt. Rainier while the weather was clear." — dlam522 • Aug 24, 2015
"I only had a few hours to get away, so I decided to nab some of the little nubbins in Cougar Mountain Park. Did a 12 mile loop starting from outside the gate to the Sky Country Trailhead (I arrived before the park opened), then looping over Marshall's Hill, Deceiver Ridge, Long View Peak, Wilderness Peak, and Anti-Aircraft Peak, before returning to the car. No views, but lots of sword ferns and courteous runners." — TynanRammGranberg • May 31, 2015
"Today's trip to the Cougar Mountain Wildland Park was another great visit to the wilderness including two Issaquah Alps peaks, two waterfalls, and a few territorial viewpoints." — herdingcats • Mar 30, 2014
"Did a loop starting from the water tank road, heading over to the wildside trail, then around to the De Leo Wall viewpoint before passing over the peak of Marshall's Hill and then back to the water tank road." — Al-Rashid • May 28, 2011
"Headed up from Highlands Park, passing the huge boulder along the way, then across the trail below De Leo Wall Trail to De Leo Wall Viewpoint, then along the De Leo Wall Trail over the peak of Marshall's Hill, then back down the trail to Highlands Park." — Al-Rashid • Apr 9, 2011
"Headed up the trail starting from the northeast corner of The Highlands neighborhood near The Crest neighborhood. Once entering Cougar Mountain Park I did a loop around Marshall's Hill on the Wildside Trail and then over the peak on the De Leo Wall Trail before heading down the trail that originates on the east side of The Highlands neighborhood." — Al-Rashid • Jul 31, 2010
