"We hiked the trail pretty late in the day planing to see the sunset. It did not disappoint. The hike back in the dark was actually pretty fun. Turning your lights off every once in awhile really puts in perspective how dark it gets in the woods. The trail is pretty moderate saw lots of people hiking down with no water. Wouldent recommend that but I guess lots of people do it. Totally worth the drive from Ohio to see. " — MonMonKack • Mar 16, 2024
"The hike is fairly mundane, moderate in good weather. Make sure you take water with you, especially if temps are above mid 70 degrees at the beginning of the trail. When you get to the end, there, you receive your reward. Spectacular views. Ease over to your left, climb a few rocks, and through some trees and you will be in an area most people do not visit. It is like your own little piece of serenity." — tdiguy • Aug 9, 2015
"Awoke aroung 5 and was at the trailhead by 6:15. The five of us reached the summit by 8am and were back to the car by 9am. Quick summit, but the window was narrow. Beautiful late fall view." — jak5280 • Nov 5, 2014
