For the most, it's just an enjoyable ridge walk with first-class colourful views. Moderate scramble sections are en-route to Victoria Peak and off Pincher Ridge North point. The latter is avoidable by taking slopes between the main summit and North part of the ridge.
As it was raining and snowing (in other places) previous night, had my hiking/scrambling boots instead of approach shoes. I definitely forgot how heavy it is in them. By the time I got back to the service road, I was ready to kiss it and yell "hallelujah".
Got lucky with the weather: while it was really wet in the morning but got dry by lunch; was mainly cloudy and a couple storms that appeared on horizon around 5pm, just went another way." — alexp • Aug 17, 2019
"Tagged this one as part of the victoria to pincher traverse. Nice viewpoint. Deep snow in the trees above 1800m. It was mostly supportive, but we had a few surprise postholes. The normal trail crosses a steep slope that is holding hardish snow. Not really exposed, but a slip might be unpleasant. We got through this fine on approach shoes, but i would have preferred an ice axe and helmet. " — mike_rogers81 • Jun 9, 2019
