"Solo. From car park in Dufton along bridle way up Pus Gill, through gate to access land and up SE ridge to summit. Back same way. Fresh snow covered the hill. I had previously claimed that I climbed Dufton Pike in 1942 and that this was my first Marilyn. I withdrew this claim in 2017 as I felt that there was insufficient evidence that the summit had been reached." — peter43 • Mar 9, 2019
"An evening walk from Dufton village up the Pennine Way, past a dead sheep, approaching the mountain from the West, cutting through on invisible FB marked on OS to reach a clear path up on the west side. Very windy and steep in places, grass underfoot. Blustery at top. Howling wind descending on east side, before meeting a very stoney bridleway back to Dufton." — vygodski • May 8, 2017
