"Starting at High Down Car Park I took in a clockwise route out over the Rattlebrook Tramway to Kitty Tor calling in at a few on the way before returning via Bleak House ruin and the Dunna Goats and Brat Tor. 16.2km. Heatwave sun. Solo. " — MuchMoorWalking • Jul 9, 2022
"Parked at the car park behind the Dartmoor Inn, and walked directly to the summit of Brat Tor. The onward to bleak house. Was going to do green tor as I was there but the weather was closing in...so headed back via the dunna goats, great links tor and arms tor. " — staggeronward • Oct 24, 2021
"Parked in High Down CP and set off taking the longer southerly route towards Black Rock in search of the memorial plaque that resides there. Once discovered, crossed River Lyd and then ascended up the steepest side of Brat Tor to the Widgery Cross atop. North across Arms Tor to the illusive Smallacombe Rock and then east to the magnificent Great Links Tor for lunch before a gentle downhill return direct to car park. 9.2km. Cold and Misty. Solo. "Ten Tors training walk 3: What a climb from Nodden Gate! Excellent views and there was snow too. Very good tor and amazing cross. Well worth a visit on a nice day. Great start to my 15-mile trek today. - getting down was steep and a challenge. Will visit here again with the family along with some tors such as Great Links, Arms and Great Nodden :)" — torbagger • Dec 9, 2017
"Brat's Tor was our last Tor of the day, It was raining and the fog was coming in fast. Myself and my camping buddy had had a awesome weekend and it was now time to return down from Brat's Tor and back to our cars in the carpark. " — mikebright • Sep 24, 2017
