"Alda S and I followed a good trail to Two O'clock Ridge. We reached the ridge in full fog and little visibility. We then followed towards the Two O'clock Mountain. As we approached the final ridge, we immerged above the clouds and were rewarded with spectacular inversion. The plan was to continue to Landslide Peak, but the rock covered with lichen was slippery. Instead we dropped down, and gained Tuff Puff ridge, and back to the highway." — martawojnarowska • Sep 30, 2020
"We drove up to Shunda HI Hostel Friday night. Saturday did not start out promising as it had already been snowing since Friday night. We intended to do Vision Quest but without a chance of views, we drove bit further and found the area around Tuff Puff top be dry. We started up the trail and things were going quite good. I crushed a tick, yay, and found another six on grass blades. We kept going up and it looked a bit snowier, but despite that it didn't look like there would be a lot of snow, so I decided to leave the snowshoes behind. We kept on, and about 10 minutes later, it became clear that I needed to go back and get the snowshoes. I did so and we continued to a alpiny summit. We didn't see any of the pink/orangy colors as it was not exactly summer conditions." — BertB • May 4, 2019
"We drove up Friday after work to Nordegg and stayed at the Shunda Creek Hostel. Most everyone else had cancelled their reservations due to weather, so it was super quiet. Saturday it was wet snow first thing and so we decided to drive towards Vision Quest, but opted to keep going and try Tuff Puff since we really want to be able to see Abraham Lake in all its glory from VQ and that wasn't going to happen this time! We met one guy out by himself just coming down and the rest of the day was just us. Lots of deer out. We brought snowshoes, which we used for probably the last 200m of the ascent and I had even brought crampons in case of hard snow - I used them right at the end to go up the pinnancle. Visibility was poor and we had no views. Hopefully, next time we go back there will be clear skies. It was still good to get 970ms of gain though to warm up for the scrambling season." — leigh-annewebster • May 4, 2019

"20 km loop to the summit point on Tuff Puff and out via Kinglet Lake. Supper at the Shunda Hostel with a like minded group from Edmonton that I met and joined up with along the ridge; enjoyed a 5 Star Michelin meal that included BBQ Pork Loin, Cheese Scalloped Potatoes, Baby Carrots with Thyme & Honey, Cooked Cabbage, Homemade Soft Rolls and Creme Brulet drizzled with fresh Boysenberry, Raspberry, Strawberry and chocolate drizzle on the side." — Mountainman • Jun 6, 2015
