"Trail is starting to freeze up, ice and snow are building on the trail itself, but no where else. Makes for a slippery scramble without proper footwear. First 15 minutes are a slow incline, followed by 30 minutes of steep incline (or so it seemed on the icy trail). Loose rocks. Signs of water flow from earlier seasons.
It took me 40 minutes to clear the trees, the mountain scape views once in the clearing/on the ridge are spectacular. You could spend weeks in here exploring the land. It's truly magnificent! I've just moved to Whitehorse and this was a PERFECT welcome-hike to the area." — cmeaghanevelyn • Oct 18, 2018
