"Trail wasn't easy to find with the recent snow fall. No tracks. I've added a photo of the little driveway you're looking for. Walk up the driveway parallel to the HWY, past the first entrance (electrical), and the second will have a little hiker sign-post on it. A few meters will take you to the entrance which is a survey post and a sign about the mountain goats (please adhere).
The trek was difficult. No one has been on, and once the elevation increased, the trail was hard to follow. I ended up on the face of the mountain, following an old goat trail. I couldn't turn around, it was too risky, so I had to break trail up the face to the summit to find the correct trail.
The views are stunning at the top. And there is a lot of ridge to explore up there but daylight was waning.
The way down this time of year is AMAZING. You can literally glissade 95% of the trail. It took there hours to climb, and 30 minutes to get down.
Incredible hike.
