Scotland mountains highlights

"Walked from Brodick up Glen Shuraig then uphill from Burnbank and through the peat hags to the summit, which is a prime viewpoint for the Corbetts. Soaked in the view then returned by the same route." - Cul nan Creagan, ChrisMac, Dec 9, 2018
"A stunning walk on one of the best mountains you can get. Up the lost valley to Stob Coire Sgreamhach then constant brocken spectres all the way along to Bidean nam Bian over to Stob Coire nan Lochan for another brocken spectre before heading down Coire nan Lochan. An unforgettable day with brilliant views!" - Stob Coire Sgreamhach, ChrisMac, Nov 17, 2018

"Friday 2nd November 2018. An ascent of Creag Mhor Thollaidh 342m/100m, Flowerdale, Highland, Scotland. 4.8km, with 330m of ascent. 2 hours 0min. East of Gairloch in the North-West Highlands, skirted on three sides by the A832 road, lies a wild area of lochs, lochans and low rugged mountains known as Flowerdale, after the principal glen in the area. Although the highest hills are not much over 400 metres in altitude, they are ancient gnarled hills of cliff and crag, mainly composed of Lewisian gneiss, the most ancient rock in Scotland, laid down in the Pre-Cambrian Period more than a bil" - Creag Mhor Thollaidh, marktrengove2, Nov 2, 2018
