"Cycled the West Coast Wilderness Trail from Kawhaka to where the ridge track starts. Clagg rolled onto the summit shortly after arrival. One deer seen on the clearing where the track starts. Last summit was 2015 via Grahams Creek." — jasonsweney • Dec 3, 2022

"Dave W. and I walked up from the Grahams Ck bridge. I did a bit of track work on the way to the tops. Dave went to Pt 1373m and I stopped at the trig 1368m which is 250m to the NW. Once on the tops we were above the thick cloud of the way up through the bush. The cloud cleared for a few hours but it came in again as we were descending. It was exactly 8hs on the hill from the car back to the car. Saw goats as I often do." — glennj • Jan 4, 2022

"Climbed Turiwhate swinging a slasher doing a few track improvements on the way up and down. It was a sunny clear day with a strong cold wind. I saw a few goats down in the bush and a kea (mountain parrot) on the tops. Nice views were to be had of the snowy Southern Alps." — glennj • Oct 15, 2020

"M. A. and I went up via the track from the Graham's Creek bridge giving the track some maintenance as we went. Once on the tops above the end of the track we traversed the ridge line through to the trig beacon high point. A detour was done down to the 1933 plane crash site then back up to the ridge line on the way to the trig. The wx was mainly good but it was a bit cloudy on the last two knobs." — glennj • Apr 22, 2018

"Walked up to the tops doing track work some of the way. Visited the plane crash memorial and then went to the trig beacon high point where I had lunch as did a two person party who had come with me from the tops via the old plane crash site. I did track work part of the way down until the other party, whom had spent longer lunching and taking photos caught me up, then we walked out the rest of the way together. The weather was excellent!" — glennj • May 28, 2017

"Solo walk from Grahams Ck bridge via the TL track. Once in the tussock & rock I traversed across the various knobs to the high points 1368m & 1373m. Ate lunch on Point 1373m then descended by the same route. It was an overcast warm day." — glennj • Apr 9, 2014
