"From St Raven’s, descending about 50m to saddle then a long, slow incline that seems somewhat interminable alongside a dilapidated wall. It is boggy in places but mostly bridged with well placed stones. One does need to concentrate on one’s feet a little. After a couple of mile one eventually spies Stone Cove Pike, and immediately in front of you Caudale Moor. I follow the path up to the former. It is quite a broad summit with several small rocky rises, but no obvious marker for the high point. Quite a few people about, including one arguing couple. From here retraced steps a little to then detour up to the cairn on Caudale Moor." — vygodski • Sep 26, 2025
