"Absolutely incredible views of well , everything. Perfect day, very windy at the top. No snow on trail, no ice on trail, trail muddy in spots. No problems with the road, a lower vehicle can do it with no issues ." — puddlepirate • Nov 20, 2019

"Rocky steep trail in the beginning, but it gets much better! Snow after 0.75 mile or so. I ended up using my microspikes after half way up. Wish I had brought gaiters and better hiking shoes, since I didn't actually expect to see so much snow! The summit views were absolutely amazing. All 5 major peaks were out - St. Helens, Rainier, Adams, Hood and even Jefferson. One of my top 5 spring hikes...only wishing I didn't live 200 miles away! A very rewarding hike, that's for sure! :D" — aimk13 • May 6, 2012
