"Another 4 peaks checked off on the wasatch crest! The fall colors are in full swing today! Small amounts of snow left on the summits in the distance, nothing to deal with at this elevation. Trail is mostly dirt/gravel access road except for the summit pushes. Very easy trail, nice to jog on the way down. Wooded section at the beginning is gorgeous." — easton • Sep 19, 2024
"First run up to the Wasatch Crest since moving to Park City. Starting to really like the King Road onramp to the Jupiter/Guardsman area. Hit Shadow Lake on the way up so Shiloh could grab water, then up the connector and aptly named "Puke Hill". Didn't have much time to run the actual crest, but views were spectacular. Summited Scott Hill and newly added "Peak 9770". Descended via Pinecone Ridge which might have been the highlight... Incredible rolling downhill through a Pine forest before intersecting with Mid-Mountain trail. Home via Spiro and Armstrong... LOTS of MTBers by the end, but everyone so friendly!" — rsnipes • Sep 12, 2020
"I thought I'd do this in a sequence of peaks: Scott's Hill, 10009 and Silver benchmark. I thought my 35 year old mountain bike (Steel, rim brakes, and no suspension) would be ok, but that isn't how it worked out....I ended up hitting a rock wrong and flipping over the handlebars...major road rash and a ruined helmet. Some part of the handlebars tried to punch through my thigh but only severely bruised it and gave me a major charlie-horse. I was traveling solo (the wife was super angry about that when I got home and she saw the damage) but I figured since it is such a well traveled trail that I wouldn't have any problems if something went wrong. I ended up pushing the 45 lb bike almost as much as I rode it. Besides the spill, it was a great trip!

"I drove 440 miles from home to visit Ed & Linda and run the 15 mile Jupiter Steeple Chase in Park City UT. We bagged Jupiter Peak and Scott's Peak after a 3,200' climb in 8 miles up. Got up Jupiter and Scott's in 2:03 then 2:17...15 in 3:43 hrs Prettiest trails I've ever run on." — paula.raimondi • Aug 1, 2015
"This was my first time out on the Wasatch Crest Trail. Out with a group of Geocaches looking for some fresh placements. I was extra excited because we were going to hit three points along the way that were all above 10'000ft. This was the first along the route that morning. Came off trailhead just west of here. First snow of there year during this hike it was beautiful." — CacheMACS • Oct 12, 2014
