"Took an interesting road from the A1 signposted Chillingham that led right by the hill. Parked at the Hepburn forestry carpark and walked back up the hill via the road. Then took the very muddy official path to the summit that also acted as a stream. Visibility was very poor and there was no view of any worth to be had on this day. Descended via the wall which was very steep. " — NorthernWayfarer • Feb 7, 2017
"A small peak, but good viewpoint, that was presented to the National Trust in 1936. The walkis fairly short, from Hepburn, via Hepburn Moor and up the direct track from the moor. The summit is the site of an ancient fort." — davidlong • Mar 6, 2012
