"Set off from the base of Little Staple, heading north to Middle Staple, Greater Staple, and Roos Tors before heading east going via Little Roos Tor to camp overnight on Great Mis." — WessexMan • Aug 9, 2020

"Heading north past Little Staple Tor, I headed to the collection of tors on Staple Tor, failing to climb the highest one - a rock climb. Continuing north to a col, I was soon on the summit of Roos Tor. I then contoured round south-west to a pool, and up to the summit of Cox Tor. Descending south I reached the road, following it east back to the car. Solo. Bright sunny weather, with broken cloud, but a fierce cold northerly wind.Skylarks, wheatears, and Dartmoor ponies." — marktrengove2 • May 5, 2019

"Birthday Walk: Walked over from Cox Tor, onto Granite by the lake that a Cow was enjoying. The tor itself is fantastic. I wasn't expecting such great outcrops which were blocky and the views magnificent! Had lunch up there and rested my pack admiring the Great Mis Tor clitter. Awesome Rock Basin ;-)" — torbagger • Nov 19, 2017
