"The trailwalk in Cuá-Huércal, Almería, covers four peaks: Cerro del Campico (329m), Peak 333m, Cerro de la Torre (358m), and Cerro de los Cañaetes (396m). The route is over rough terrain, with gentle ascents, making it accessible ony to experienced hikers. While the altitude is modest, the challenge comes from the iAndalusian sun and the dense, sticky green vegetation along the way. The terrain is mostly dry and rocky, with loose stones in some sections requiring careful footing, especially on Cerro de la Torre. The views from the higher peaks stretch across rolling hills, with a clear sightline to the distant Mediterranean and occasional glimpses of water reservoirs. The hike is best done early or late in the day to avoid the heat, and carrying enough water is essential.
